Is there a way to stop kids from deleting texts or can deleting things be password protected

Our child sends some inappropriate texts I would like to take away her ability to delete texts or just password protect the delete function Is there a way to do this, in fact keep better control on what she does with her phone.

There are no restrictions settings on the iOS messaging app, nor can you access or manipulate her iMessaging account if she is using her own AppleID with that.

If she is only using SMS texts, then you can ask your carrier if they offer any Parental Controls on their SMS/MMS texting services.
