always show status bar?

Is there a way to get the status bar in Safari to show ALL the time? I do have it set to show status bar, but what I need is for it to display constantly, not just when I mouse over something.

(I frequently use a website for work that has a session timer that will display in the status bar and I would like to be able to see it so I can make sure I don't get logged out and lose my work for the session!)

Forgive me if this has been covered, I couldn't find mention of a solution though I did see others ask the same question...
