Hi, I am about to start studying Music Tech Help Guys compressor tutorial, he says the Logic stock compressor looks like this:
I can find it nowhere, great start! please can someone point out where it is, it has to look exactly the same as this:

That was the Logic compressor until 10.0.7 - it has been so long since I've seen that one. Anyway, the new (blue) Platinum compressor is compatible with the old one, set to Platinum cicuit type. The controls are the same, just located differently, and there's one extra circuit model compared to the old one. The sound is the same, and presets from the old one are loadable into the new one.

That's an older version of Logic. Cant you just take the settings and apply them to the Platinum Compressor or is it way too different?

The new compressor is way too different indeed!
I opened up Logic 10.2.4 and the same new compressor is in there too.
