I left a groupchat, got added back, and now I can't type

So, I've been in a group chat for a while and today, i left the group chat as a joke it said "you left the conversation". i was added back to the group chat by a friend and it still said "you left the conversation" I can't type in the groupchat or get medsages from it. how do i fix this???

I understand that you left a group chat and once you rejoined you're unable to message or receive messages. I have a few suggestions that may help. Restart your phone if you haven't already. If that doesn't help, leave the conversation, delete the conversation and get added back again.

Also, make sure that you can send messages normally. Here's a great link if you're unable to: If you can‘t send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
