Xcode project's company/organization?

I've joined the apple developer program as an individual developer. My question is what do I use for the company/organization token for the application's bundle ID? (I have no web site.)

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

Are you talking about supplying the organization name and identifier when you create a new project? If so, you can put whatever name you want as the organization as long as it's unique. Going with Apple as an organization name would be a bad idea. If you're working solo, you can use your name as the organization name and something like com.yourfirstandlastname as the organization identifier.

The organization identifier is a way to uniquely identify yourself and your apps. It doesn't require you to have a website. The organization name is the name that appears in the copyright notice in the source code files Xcode creates.

Thanks Drew and Mark for your help - The part that still bothers me is that whatever name I choose it must be unique. My application creates a .plist file in ~/Library/Preferences and whatever bundle ID I construct must not collide with any other app - I can't possibly guarantee uniqueness. Maybe I'm making too much of this. Suppose my name is John Smith.

I believe Apple will inform you if it is unavailable if you submit to the App store.

I wonder if Apple also check when you request a developer certificate to sign apps too, otherwise you could simply call yourself Adobe.com & sign apps as if you were them. Apple will revoke certificates if a developer is found to be doing bad things, so they have a duty to check for uniqueness & not issue duplicates.
