Opened a potentially malicious pdf

HEllo

I received an email from notice@apple.icloud.com about a purchase confirmation. I opened the pfd and it seemed like an invoice. I immediately closed and deleted the email. ANything else i need to do?

iPhone 5s, iOS 10.2.1

You will know if its an email from Apple if it says Dear and your first name right after. If this seems to be a real email from Apple, you've done all you need to do which is delete the email if you don't need it.


Identifying legitimate emails from the iTunes Store - Apple Support


If it is fake, it will say something like "Dear Customer" "Dear Client"


Identify and report phishing emails and other suspicious messages - Apple Support


If you suspect it is fake, forward the email as an attachment to reportphishing@apple.com

probably not, but if you want an second opinion you run Etrecheck to check your systems for any malware or adware. If anything is detected you can remove it. You may also post an Etrecheck report for analysis of your system if you want the volunteers here to look at it and give an opinion . The link is http://www.etrecheck.com
