Turn off autosaving on Pages

I'm using the newest version of Pages for Mac, and I thought there used to be a way that would let me turn off the autosaving feature, but I can't find it in the Pages preferences. Is there a way to stop Pages from saving my documents automatically?

Nope. Not in Pages itself after Pages '09 v4.1. You can however, check the System Preferences : General : Ask to keep changes when closing documents. This will block Pages autosave, and saves will only occur when you force them via the keyboard, or File menu. It will prompt you whether to save or discard changes when you quit the application too.
