You don't. Apple does not give out codes. iPhones do not use unlock codes.
If the iPhone is locked to MetroPcs only they can unlock it.
The person you bought it from would need to request the unlock to MetroPCS since they would have been MetroPCS clients and can provide the info MetroPCS requires to unlock.

@Kappy, I don't believe Activation Lock is the issue here, rather Carrier Lock.
Activation Lock Problem
It requires the Apple ID and password of the previous owner. If you don't have it and cannot get it, then the device is useless to you. Return it for a refund, if you can, or take it to an Apple store for an exchange provided they will help you.
Oh, sorry for not making it clear that Apple does not unlock the phone from the activation lock. So you can't get a code from Apple.
