Alternatives to Apple Wiki Server

We've been using Apple's Wiki Server from the start, hoping that they would continue improving things and adding capabilities but we're no longer hopeful of that.

We're looking for an online alternative. Any suggestions? Ease of use, easy image/file management and tags all paramount.

Have you considered paying for a virtual mac and configuring it with wiki? Just get a public domain name and SSL cert and you could expose the wiki to the web and connect to the wiki on the cloud that way.

If you are using Mac for a domain server, you would need to make this remote host a domain replica and open a firewall port at the site of your domain server so that your remote server can fetch its user directory, etc.

You're still somewhat responsible for the implementation, but it would be hosted offsite with backups every six hours or so.
