Popup malware/addware on Safari

Today I was surfing the web on my iPhone and I attempted to open my bank's website.

Suddenly I was taken to a different web address (lots of numbers & letters, then .cf5.rackcdn.com), that opened a popup saying that Apple Store will make me a millionaire and that I should press "OK" for more information.

Of course, I did not press "OK" and now my browser froze with this message on and there is nothing I can do to close it, because I cannot go back or view all browser tabs, to manually press "X". I hope you can understand what I am saying...

What can I do to close Safari and restart it, hopefully without having this problem again?

I never surf unsafe websites, so I am really amazed how this happened 😟

Apps are not affected, it is just the browser.

Awaiting for any kind of feedback that can help. Thank you so much in advance, best regards,

There are no know viruses/malware for a non jailbroken iPhone.

Close out of the safari app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app. Then open it up again.

If it is still there then go to settings - safari and clear your cache.
