how do i stop lock screen when my phone is plugged into power source

From what I can find, there is no way in settings to have your phone act differently when on power as you have described.

You can extend your screen on time by choosing how many minutes in Settings>Display & Brightness>Auto-Lock.

You may be able to download a 3rd party app, but I do not know of any off the top of my head.

No, that is not a feature of iOS.

First, you would need to disable your screen lock passcode and fingerprint recognition. Then, under your display and brightness settings should appear an option under auto-lock to set it to never. But that option will not be displayed if you have an active screen lock password or fingerprint in use.

Then you cannot do what you wish. The minute you put in a passcode the option to never lock disappears. There's no point having that option and screen lock passcode security enabled at the same time, so iOS is programmed not to allow it.

Some apps are programmed to keep the screen active when they are running (Waze and other nav apps, for example) but otherwise, the screen is going to autolock after a period as long as you have a screen lock passcode in use.
