Hello, I am having the same problem (but not with an app, it's with the native mail icon). Can you offer any further help? I posted a new thread today 3/31/17 titled, "Email Notifications Not Working". My user name is aslflower. My email is flowerlelah@gmail.com. Please see my post for details of the steps I have tried already.
Thank you.
Lelah
I have this problem too. I have restarted my MacAir and have closed and re-opened mail several times without success. My iPhone and Kindle get the Mail just fine, sitting in the same chair where I'm using my Mac. I don't see anything helpful in the comments. Did you solve this problem?
😝
Ever since the new 11.0.3 update, the push option has been eliminated for gmail accounts that I know of. Outlook hasn't been affected. I had attempted to resolve my notification issue with 2 support advisors and 1 senior advisor and after having the phone backed up and then restored ... it didn't fix the issue.
The only way to fix this issue is to have everyone send feedback telling apple that their gmail accounts don't have the push option anymore since the latest ios update. Eventually, the many feedback reports will give apple an alarm to truly fix the problem with an update ..
Until then, do a temporary fix by downloading gmail app instead if your problem is with gmail acct. This has worked for me, but would RATHER have the root of the problem fixed.
Until then ... 😎
Are you serious? 😂 I’ve done what you described 2 different ways. By doing exactly what you described .... AAAAAANNNDDD by restoring the iPhone which would obviously do that as well. Read before giving same advise. It doesn’t work per me, per 2 support advisors, per senior support advisor, .... it won’t work until Apple developers fix the problem caused by the update.
Plus, I’m so over the cheers salutations...
Quit Mail app and reopen, if its still not working restart your Apple device.
I just spent an hour trying to help my wife with this issue. We have reset all the notifications etc and turned her phone on and off a half dozen times. Still doesn't work
This is weird. I posted the above, went back to my e-mail act. to see if I could send an e-mail out, and all of a sudden it decided to download all my morning e-mail. Anyone know what happened?
Hi
Go to settings down to Email Accounts delete accounts that are not working correctly then add back again.
Cheers
