issues reinstalling itunes on 8.1

So I got my computer back from the shop after getting it fixed for a fan issue. I am trying to reinstall iTunes and keep getting this message when trying to open it. "A required iTunes component is not installed. Please repair or reinstall iTunes (45075)." (image below). I have tried to reinstall/repair at least 15 times! HELP please!

So I have tried the above fixes. When none worked I attempted to download an older version and kept getting an Error 2 message about iTunes Helper. I looked up solutions to that error found a few solutions from other threads (those being:

Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version):

http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").)

I tried the former and it didn't work. I then tried the latter and it didn't give me the option to "Extract to iTunesSetup" when I right clicked on that link. Any other suggestions since I am still getting the Error 2 message? (image below) Thanks!

Ok how do I unpack the installer. I looked at 7zip and this is the options they give me (see image below) and as for attempting to install Apple Application support I downloaded the trial version of that WinRAR program but then never got the option when I right-clicked on the iTunes64Setup.exe link to extract it, it just automatically went back into a download for iTunes. Thanks!

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Run the installer as the administrator. It may just possibly help to pre-install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable.

Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.

The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, or want to revert to an older version if the current one won't work properly for you at the moment.

Your library and device backups should be unaffected by these steps but there are links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.
