how do i stop mine and my husbands iphones from sharing a call log? His calls show up on my iphone and vise versa its giving me the *****! we use the sane itunes acct but icloud is turned off and i have turned just about everything else off!

Well, the one benefit to setting up separate Apple accounts for everyone and using those separate accounts for everything but the iTunes & App Store sign ins, is that each account would then have their own free 5GB of iCloud space.

Are you sharing an Apple ID? If so, switch to family sharing and use different IDs.

So, that is why you are getting the mixed logs. If you are signed into Messages and FaceTime with the same Apple/iCloud ID, then your call logs may be mixed.

You can both use the same Apple ID for iTunes, and sign into the iTunes & App Store with that same ID, but you should each be using your own unique ID for your FaceTime and Messages logins. Otherwise, the issue can occur.

Again, there is no need to use Family Sharing if you use the same Apple ID for iTunes. You only need your own ID for Messages, FaceTime, and iCloud, if you are wanting to use that. Things change. This problem was not reported until a few years ago, and it does not seem to be anything that is going to be easily fixed. So, the easy fix is to create a unique ID for yourselves, and use that ID to sign into everything except iTunes. That way, you still all have access to the same media you have always had access to.

You need to immediately stop sharing an Apple ID.

You must each have individual Apple IDs.
