1st gen Apple Watch price sept 2016

Hi,

My wife bought me the following apple watch back in September 2016, 4 days after the release of the series 2 watches, thinking it was the new series 2 (Apple Watch 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel Case & Milanese Loop) however it would now appear that the watch is only a 1st generation watch.

now the description I have included does not state the type of watch it was amongst other series 2 watches and had a price of £649.99.

Can anyone let me know what the selling price was for 1st generation watches at this time, i suspect a lot lower and the seller has deliberately priced this watch, along with the product placement and description to imply it was a series 2 watch.

Any help would be appreciated
