Can my Olympus WS320M work with iTunes?

Got a voice recorder for Christmas (thanks santa) and it does not show up as a device in itunes. It does show up on my desktop.

The manual for the 320 only talks about Windows Media Player. Olympus support says that itunes tracks will play just fine if I get them onto it.

I read elsewhere on the web that people do indeed use the WS320 with itunes, but nowhere does it say how, or what could make itunes fail to recognize it.

Thanks in advance if you can help.

"i think for certain devices (i think the psp) add ons which can make the files transfer straight from itunes."

Thank you for giving me a direction, but I'm not so much a computerphile as a person with a computer.

I don't really know what an "add on" is (is it for itunes or the Olympus?), where I should get one, or how to add it on. can anybody clarify?

Here's a link to the Olympus website and the available downloads (hopefully) for your recorder. I don't think it will mean you can view your recorder in iTunes but it should help to transfer the files from the recorder on to your Mac.

Just realised I may have got that wrong it's not for WS320 but DS320 I think. Had a quick look on Olympus's website for WS320 software but they say they don't have any available at this time.
