Is it safe to download books from the site BookBub?

I am just starting to learn about iBooks, & I am not very good with computers yet. 😕😊

The website BookBub seems to have a lot of good book deals, including free books to download into iBooks. Before I do anything with them, I wanted to ask if they are safe to use. Does anyone have any experience with them or know of them? Thanks. 🙂

It seems you are correct. At first, it appeared that I could download the books directly from BookBub. I had to choose my type of e-reader, such Amazon or Barnes & Noble or Apple. I thought that meant they would download the book to my Apple device. After reading your comment, I went back to BookBub. I decided to try "buying" one of the free books, to see how it was handled. It turns out that when I click on "buy," and Apple, they send me into the Apple store, to the page where I can then get the book, for free. So, it turns out that I am actually downloading the books from the Apple store. Problem solved. Thanks for your help. 🙂
