the latest iTunes update has stopped multi editing of tracks... only works track by track!

This same issue is driving me insane. A simple task that used to work in iTunes 12.6.0.93 is now not working in 12.6.0.100. So when I highlight all those 20 remixes that I've uploaded from another drive, convert them to MP3 inside iTunes, then group them like I always have for the past 10 years, suddenly all those remixes do not get uploaded to the corresponding album and artist I edit/write up - unless I do each track 1 by 1, 20 times. ***?User uploaded file

Hi Jim...thanks for taking a interest.... I am using Mac OSX 10.11.6 and iTunes 12.6.00

Just to repeat...the problems is when i import a number of tracks which show as individual tracks which I highlight and want to group together as one album...they refuse to play ball...artist name does not change...album art does link etc...when I have gone through each track and changed al the elements they join up to make the album and then I can edit them as one... this problem has only happened since the latest iTunes update...

There would seem to be a bug when using the Recently Added and Albums layouts in iTunes 12.6.0.100 that means multi-track get info only applies changes when a single album has been selected. The Songs view still works properly however.

I've not had a chance to exhaustively test the other views as I've had to downgrade to 12.5.5.5 on this machine to regain access to the iTunes Store. 😟

Having same problem, but sadly no answers yet. I have found it is sometimes working in song view if that helps, but I often have to try several times. i also have problems with it re-organising my external drive splitting all my albums into 2 or 3 different albums, oh and deleting many aswell. If I edit one and up with 12 songs displayed as seperate albums instead of an 1 album, I end up with 12 album files on hard drive. Hope apple fix this soon. So all be wary with this update.
