can i plug my apple watch usb cord into a 220v outlet with just an outlet adapter?

Essentially I have an outlet adapter (no voltage conversion) that has two USB ports when plugged into the 220v wall. Can I safely plug my Apple Watch USB charger into these ports and charge my watch?

Hi

Apple recommends using one of the following when charging Apple Watch via mains power (in conjunction with the Magnetic Charging Cable):

If one was included, the Apple USB power adapter that came supplied with your Apple Watch.
An Apple iPhone or iPad USB Power Adapter.
An MFI-certified third-party 5W power adapter.
