i don't have a card to use on my appleid an d it is forcing me to update everytime i want to upgrade or use the app store for anything, can i remove this somehow

I need to remove my credit card from my apple id. The card was declined for a netflix transaction, now the app store is forcing me to update it even to update apps i have paid for or even on free apps. Any way around this since i do not have another credit or debit card

There are only 2 ways to remove the card, choose the None option if it is available in the accepted payment methods in your account or redeem an iTunes gift card so that there is a credit shown on your account.
