Thank you Jonathan you put my mind at ease. I have been fighting with this all evening trying to find a way to Unsubscribe. I received a receipt for something I didn't even know I subscribed to. It is very deceiving and confusing the way they have it worded. I surely don't want it to automatically renew, so I feel better now. Thanks for pointing out the subtle wording.
As I hoped to explain in my previous reply:
The screenshot that you posted appears to indicate that your subscription has already been cancelled and that will expire on 10 April.
The message indicates:
"Select an option to resubscribe. If you resubscribe, your new subscription will begin on Apr 10, 2017".
Hi
To view and manage your current app subscription - and to turn off Automatic Renewal - follow the instructions here:
View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support
Once Automatic Renewal has been turned off, a subscription will end at the end of the current subscription period (for which payment has already been made).

Glad to have helped! 🙂
If it is being billed to you through another source (i.e., not charged to your iTunes account) the following may help: https://support.scribd.com/hc/en-us/articles/210134046-How-do-I-cancel-my-premiu m-membership-
Yep, that is what I followed. If you look at the screen shot of the picture I posted, you can see the "cancellation" button with red font is missing. Scribd does not have my credit card on file and when I try to cancel from their website they point me back to my I tunes Account.
I pointed me back to my I tunes and they don't have my credit card.
Thanks JohNathan! I'm an idiot and already cancelled... Apparently I'm doing things on my check list and not remembering. :)
You're welcome! 🙂
Won't let me unsubscribe to "Scribd" app
