If I wish to buy iPhone 7 Red against my iPad a price reduction is obtained in Switzerland.
The serial number of my iPad is not recognised! why ? I assume it's iPad 2.

iPad (3rd gen.) is successor of iPad 2.
You can find model number ( Axxxx, where xxxx is 4-digit number ) on the back cover.
With the number, you should be able to identify your iPad on the referred page and see the difference between the models.
Just funny that the serial number is not récognitif by Apple!!!!
