Can't recover iCloud backup, White screen of death
I have an iPhone 6 plus with the most current OS(10.2.1). Yesterday, my phone's battery ran down while I was out. It was several hours before I was able to plug it to a power source(something I've done multiple times in the past). However, when the phone began to charge it got stuck on the white apple logo screen. Hard/soft reset did nothing. After making sure I was using the most update version of iTunes(12.6.0.1, I think) on my macbook pro running OS 10.11.16, i plugged my phone into my laptop and attempted to update the phone. The update completed but only resulting the white logo screen returning. I then chose restore option in iTunes. After this was done, I was able to connect the phone to wifi, set up touch ID, and login in my applied. I then selected restore from iCloud backup, and phone seemed to get stuck on a message updating from iCloud settings. As I waited, then screen went black and the white apple logo screen returned. I repeated the process of restoring the phone again through iTunes, only this time I selected set up a new phone. Doing this allowed me to use the phone, but all my data is gone. The phone works great, but everything I had before my phone crapped out is wiped. I went back and erased the phone and tried to restore the iPhone again from the iCloud backup and it failed again. Unfortunately, I only have iCloud backups, none to my laptop through iTunes. Is there no way to recover my iCloud backup? Is it corrupted? I was able to go to iCloud.com and add my contacts back but nothing else. Not sure that this matters, but I also bought the second generation apple watch earlier in the week, but had it turned off while dealing with the phone issues. I really want to get all my info back not just contacts/SMS messages. Any suggestions would be welcome
