How do you delete an Apple Loop that I created and saved to the Apple Loop Library in Logic Pro X?

Hello!!!

I am using Pro Logic X....Purchased and installed 2 years ago. I am currently running 10.3.1...I created a custom loop from a WAV file that was over 60 minutes in total WAV length....I created my WAV loop, but it saved the ENTIRE file into my Apple Loops Library!! How do I delete this incorrect Loop?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Mike

When you first save your own apple loops a user folder as described is created. It doesnt exist before you save at least one user created loop. The Library and its files are hidden by default. To show them do this:

Hold down the Option key and select Library from the Go menu in Finder.

To make it permanently visible, Show View Options for your Home folder. Check the box to show the Library.

Glad you got it sorted though.

Graham,

What I ended up doing is performing an Uninstall/install....The Loops I wanted out of the Apple Loop Library that I created are gone, which is what I wanted. But, I went to look for the User Loops:

(Loops you create in Logic Pro X are saved in your Home folder under /Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops/. To access these loops from the Finder:)

..and I still do not have a designated folder or file for those....I'll just have to be more careful when saving to the Apple Loop Library...Thank you again for your help!!

Best,

Mike
