My problem is I cannot send emails from my MAC.......I have accessed mail, preferences, accounts and indicated my provider information (comcast), when I go to advance settings, I need to endter IMAP Path Prefix.....I cannot find information in the Help documentation to tell be where to find this information.....can anyone help me?

Use this link. Enter your email address. You will not get any spam from this, but if you are queasy about that just enter something that is almost the same as your email address. The site will give you back the settings you need to enter for many (but not all) email providers.

Normally it is not needed, and you should ask Comcast.
You may not realize using all uppercase letters is the same as yelling and screaming; unacceptable and rude. Also, at the end of a sentence one period only is required.
