AirPods Charging

is it safe for me to charge my AirPods with a battery pack? I charge my AirPods with the iPhone wall adapter, it outputs 5v = 1 amp. my battery pack outputs 5v aswell, however 1.5 amps. I don't get it. They're both outputting 5v but why is the amps different? I don't want to damage my AirPods can i charge my AirPods with this battery pack? standard iPhone wall adapter outputs 5v = 1 amp

battery pack outputs 5v = 1.5 amp

It is OK to use battery pack or chargers with a higher amp rating as long as the voltage is the same. The device will only draw as much amperage as it needs to charge. In some instances an iPhone may charge faster with a 2 amp iPad charger that the 1 amp charger it ships with. The device will charge slower or may not charge at all using a charger with a lower amp rating.

Personally I buy and use 2 amp chargers rated for iPads to charge all my devices including an iPhone, iPad Air, AirPods and Apple Watch. My travel charger has 5 USB ports delivering 8 amps at 5 volts.
