I have a iPhone 5c (me556ll/a) purchased through Amazon and on the Verizon Wireless network. It will not upgrade to iOS 10.3? Unless these articles that profess 5c is eligible are wrong, what gives??

Sometimes the 32bit versions of iOS are slow to release over the air. If you connect your phone into iTunes, you'll see the update. Otherwise it may be a day or two before your phone shows it as available. Sometimes doing a hard reset can force the update to appear, press and hold the home button and sleep/wake button at the same time for 10 seconds until the apple logo appears, then try the update again.
It tells me iOS 10.2.1 is up to date when checking for update. Have not tried using iTunes yet.
I've experienced this before with my 5C. Wait a day or two and the update should show up. This has happened even though I always use iTunes for these updates.
Thanks to all who replied. Sorry Apple 5C perfectly good phone. Not forking over $400-$500 for a iPhone from Amazon. Apple can cry a river somewhere else
What do you mean by "will not upgrade."? What happens when you try? Did you try with iTunes rater than OTA?
I just checked, and iTunes says iOS version 10.3 is now available for my iPhone 5C. How are you trying to access the update?
My 5C also says it is up to date when I check OTA. iTunes says 10.3 is available. Sounds like 1st-day jitters. Patience will be rewarded.

Yes I did, my reply did say "won't upgrade to 10.3 OTA or using iTunes on laptop"
I wish they'd just officially announce that these devices are now either obsolete (effectively), or in fact a seperate 32bit iOS will be released soon.
I have a iPhone 5c and the new iOS 10.3 update hasn't popped up for me and I don't use iTunes I use software update but the iOS has popped up for my moms 6 and my sisters 5s?
My iPhone 5C continues to say it is up-to-date. iTunes, however, tells me there is iOS version 10.3 available. It is downloading as we speak. Support for these 32-bit phones has not yet been dropped.
The over the air update for the 5 and 5c was pulled by Apple. It is still available through iTunes. No explanation as to why the ota update for those 2 models was pulled has been offered.

Exactly what version of iTunes are you running? Check the version number. 12.6 is the current version.
