Block "No Caller ID" calls on iPhone 6S

I need to see if there is a way to block calls with No Caller ID coming to my iPhone. Somehow my iPhone number got into the hands of spammers telling me I was given a grant by the Feds. Of course it's not true, because the Federal Government doesn't call you, but regardless I would like to block these calls.

I cannot find an app' to do it without cost and now would not be a good time to change my phone number.

Actually, these calls cannot be blocked by the iPhone. The iPhone needs a particular identifying piece of information to block them (such as an incoming telephone number).

However, your cellular carrier should be able to block these calls! Contact them. You can even do this on a landline - require some sort of Caller ID to allow a call to come through.

I did find a great app called TrapCall. Problem is, it's a subscription service, which is not surprising for what it does. The phone has been quiet, so far this morning but I may invest in it. I hate to carry a monthly charge though, for something which just happens sporadically!

I sure wish Apple would do something. The Do Not Call list is negligible for these calls, since they are not coming from the US, they're from overseas; I believe in India. So, "throw that out." I get robots calling me, too! Here a robot female voice says I have one more chance to be approved for a $15G loan; hit '2' to talk with someone. When I hit '2,' and Indian accented voice come on, wanting my personal information. I hang up. If I call the number back (312) area code, the call does not go through ("cannot be completed as dialed").

Too bad I am looking for a job or I would change my phone number in a heartbeat! AT&T can do nothing! Ugh!

If the Caller ID is blocked, there is nothing they can do. This subscription service that you are connected to is screening all of your calls, so I wonder what their privacy policy is in regards to your call history. Unfortunately for the iPhone and other phones as well, without an incoming phone number, there is nothing to block.

I can tell you that 312 is a Chicago area code, so I'm betting this is getting spoofed for the call.

I apologize, I didn't mean to imply I have the TrapCall subscription; I do not.

It's a matter of paying $4 - $20 per month. I don't have a lot of cash, so I was looking for something I could do for free. The app's lite side ($4) will possibly work, but I don't want to commit, if it doesn't. I have the app installed, but it, of course, isn't doing anything because I haven't paid anything.
