I want to play a ps4 on a mac air, is it possible.

I have a MacBook Air (13" Early 2015) and a PS4.

I want rid of my TV and the PS4 remote play is just to laggy for most games. I was wondering if it was possible to use a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable to play the PS4 straight on to the MacBook.

I'd appreciate any help anyone could give me.

Thanks.

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), iOS 10.3, PS4

Hi,

Sorry, but Macs video connections are one way, out. Macs are not made to act as external monitors, except some iMacs. There are some third party apps that will allow you to connect Mac to Mac, but that is quite laggy, and it's not for PS4s.
