How to convert apple mov to ordinary jpg

My camera started taking "live" .mov pics without my consent or Knowledge. I know now how to switch the "lovely" unwanted new feature off and have done that but I now have 100s of photos from a holiday I cannot use because they are not jpg images. My computer is running windows 10 and I am looking for a program that can a) convert all mov files to one JPG or b brows frame by frame and then export one jpg image

Hi RIP1,

I understand that you are looking for more information about how to disable Live Photos and view them on a Windows PC. I'm happy to provide some help for this issue.

When you import Live Photos to your Windows PC, it imports both a still image and a .mov video file. You can use the still images the same as you would before. You can learn more about how to import photos to your Windows PC here:

Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Additionally, this article explains Live Photos and how to disable them:

Take and edit Live Photos - Apple Support
  1. Open the Camera app.
  2. Make sure that your Camera is set to photo mode.
  3. Hold your iPhone still.
  4. Tap User uploaded file.
