Cursor is entirely black in MacOS 10.12.4

Cursor is entirely black in MacOS 10.12.4

After upgrading to MacOS 10.12.4 my cursor is entirely black so is invisible when on top of anything black on screen (including in applications). In earlier OS versions it had a fine white keyline. How can this be fixed?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), macOS Sierra (10.12.4), Finder, Adobe Illustrator

Try restarting in Safe Mode. Normal cursor there?

Then restart normally again. Fixed?

If not, reset NVRAM.

Thanks Luis, I restarted in Safe mode, saw the normal cursor, then realized that I was using an unsupported resolution (via RDM). I've disabled that now and all is working fine!
