Apple Motion - Importing Objects

Just recently updated to Motion 5.3.1 and am trying to adjust to some of the new items. Does anyone know how to import an object to where the playhead is on the timeline? In previous versions, photos and video would import at the playhead's location on the timeline. Now it always imports objects to the beginning of the project, which I'm not too fond of.

Switch to Start of Project, close preferences, reopen preferences and switch back and try it. If that doesn't work, then

(I rarely suggest this, but) try restarting Motion with the Command and Option keys pressed. Accept Delete Preferences.

It should work. I switch back and forth often depending on the project (and most of the time I'll switch to place just a single object at the playhead, then switch back).

I did find one solution. Basically, you drag the image from the Finder window on the Layer Name in the Timeline. Don't drag it on the timeline directly, but to the Layer Name on the left. It's different than I'm used to, but I can work with this.

I'm just glad to be able to talk to other Motion users, so thanks again. I edited with Final Cut Pro for a long time but made the switch to Adobe Premiere a couple of years ago. However, I still use Motion because I like it much more than After Effects.
