when attempting to verify iMessage I get the following error: "iMessage Activation Unable to contact the Imessage server. Try again."
I have tried many times. This all happened after IOS 10.3 upgrade. Some apps also not responding.

Mine is a different problem. When I flip the Switch to turn on iMessage, the Switch turns back off after 0.5 seconds, thinking that iMessage is permanently unavailable. This is on my iPod Touch 6 (Silver/White) (I got it on 3/15/2017 at an Apple Store in my State and got it set up later last month. I got it completely set up earlier tonight when I got all the Data transferred from my old iPhone 4S (White) (I have an iPhone 6S Plus (Silver/White) though.).). I also get a Message below it saying that the Activation was unsuccessful after the Data Transferring from my old iPhone 4S (White). Does anyone know how to fix this problem without having to erase all Data or do I need to take it to an Apple Store for help?
Same problem here..just updated to iOS 10.3.3
Always stuck in "waiting for activation..." then after few minutes
it will say failed and try again
Only option i did not do is to restore from backup which is the very last option since i dont backup that often.

Hi - make sure your date/time is set correctly. Go to Settings>General>Date & Time>Turn "Set Automatically" on and then try and activate your iMessage/FaceTime again.
Did Not help... Still unable to connect...
Also issues with other apps and phone restarts on it's own. Must be other issues. Should I force another update or restore?
iWatch is also not connecting
Even I am facing the same problem with my iPad and Macbook pro, It says "An error occurred during activation. Try again"
