I'm getting a pop up message that includes "http://ec2-54-147-77-163.compute-1.amazonaws.com/" that goes on to say "Congratulations RCN Customer. Your iphone has been randomly selected to receive $1,000 Gift Card!" Do you know why and how to stop?

I'm receiving this strange popup message and it started this morning. It has appeared three times. Can you tell me why I'm getting the message and how to stop it from reappearing?

Scam.

If it comes via Safari try resetting it.

Close Safari completely from the app switcher window by double clicking the Home button and swiping up the Safari preview pane until it disappears from the screen.

Then go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.

Then restart your device.
