Anyone else use Apogee Mic 96k with iOS 10.3 successfully? I'm getting static and delay in GarageBand. Never had a problem before the 10.3 update. The mic appears to work fine with Camera app recording video.

Huh, interesting. Yes I did contact Apogee and they told me to try it with camera app which worked fine.
Are you positive your on iOS 10.3. This just came out a couple days ago.
Also, I'm using an iPhone SE.
GarageBand version is 2.2.1.
Hello Roger. I was working with Apple technical support and it looks like at this point Apple is aware of the issue. Hopefully we see a fix in the near future, probably in the form of a GarageBand or iOS update. I'm not really sure.
I was able to test both on two other devices, iPad Pro and iPhone 5S. The iPad Pro running iOS 10.3 had the same delay problem. The iPhone 5S running the previous version of iOS just before the 10.3 update had no issues, no delay.
Apple suggested trying the 10.3.1 update but stated that they did not think it would help. They were correct. Same delay.
Thanks for reply. There appear to be 2 issues here. One is the delay and the second is the failure to recognise a usb keyboard. Are these related and have you any idea when both will be fixed as my use of iPad GarageBand is now not possible! Very frustrating!
I am having the same problem using the Apogee Mic recently. I think the problem appeared since the iOS update. Now, my app cannot recognize the mic automatically. I used the Apple iPhone's Voice Memos app and same happens. No recognition or some static noise appeared. I use iPhone 7 plus.

How does the mic connect and what app are you trying to use. I found the Apogee Mic worked fine with the camera app. It only appeared to be GarageBand that was having the trouble. Apple sent out a GarageBand update yesterday, version 2.2.2. I still have the latency problem when first starting the app. However, I found that if I close GarageBand after getting the latency with Apogee Mic and reopening GarageBand the problem goes away until I unplug the mic and plug it back in. Then I need to close and reopen GarageBand again. Pre iOS 10.3 replugging in the mic was not a problem. However, at least it is usable again. But not as smooth as it was.

I still can't get it to work with Anytune Pro+. Either I get static followed by the large latency, or the Apogee just disconnects after a moment. iPhone 6 / iPad Air 2 / iPad Pro all running IOS 10.3.2
Cool. At least we are getting consistent results with a work around for GarageBand. Hopefully Apple will get this sorted. I mean, it's one of the selling points for musicians, that iOS is a good platform for this kind of stuff.
I'm having this delay issue in garageband iOS 10.3.3 iPadPro using the shure mV88 and the iRig Studio Mic. I never had this issue before the update. The only work around for me is to export the song in garageband into Audio Evolution and record vocals there as the latency is good over there. The other workaround is using a Zoom u-24 with a real condenser mic. However, it would be awesome if I could just record straight into garageband with a lightening connector mic. Apple please fix!
I've been using my Apogee MiC on my iPhone with GarageBand and iOS 10.3 without issues. Have you checked in with Apogee's tech support? www.apogeedigital.com/support
I am getting delay too in Garageband - particularly when playing guitars. It appears to happen after playing an instrument for a couple of minutes. Fix needed from Apple asap please!
The only issue I know personally is with the Apogee Mic and Apple is aware of the issue.
I am having the latency issue with another mic, since i have update my ios to 10.3.x
i never had the latency issue with the older version of ios.

I have the same problem since iOS 10.3 using apogee jam96k and any tunes pro+. Basically makes the apogee useless.
Can you get the Mic to work by restarting the app after getting the latency. This is not optimal or how it used to work but it's a work around for me after the GarageBand 2.2.2 update.
