I've tried to add the Belgian holidays calendar to iCal but couldn't find it.
I've searched here: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/calendars/index_abc2.html
Is there an existing version and where can I find it? If not, is there a possibility to create it?

The calendars that continue to be offered on the Apple downloads site are worthless, out dated, and not maintained.
According to: View the Holidays calendar for other regions - Apple Support
'When you turn on the “Show Holidays calendar” setting in Calendar preferences, Calendar shows national holidays for your region. To change your region, use the Region pop-up menu in Language & Region preferences. For example, to show holidays for Japan in Calendar, choose Japan from the Region menu.*'

I do not know of a way to keep both of them activated simultaneously. Matter of fact, changing frequently, sounds burdensome: "After making these changes, you might need to reset the Holidays calendar in Calendar. Choose Calendar > Preferences, click General, then turn off “Show Holidays calendar.” Close the preferences window, then open it again and turn the Holidays calendar setting back on."

thank you for your answer.
I might change my location, but this again puts me in difficulty as I live part time in Belgium, part time in Germany.
My location is therefore set to Germany, but this way I miss the Belgian holidays – and I suggest (not sure) that by changing the location to Belgium I would loose the information about German holidays.
Is there a way to maintain both of them activated? How do I activate several regions simultaneously?

Set the location to Belgium and download the German holiday calendar.
