Someone is trying to sign into my Apple ID

I have received a few spam emails recently telling me that some unusual payments had gone out of my Apple account. I thought they were spam so signed into my apple account. It came up with a message saying that someone was trying to log into my account on a new device in Cardiff (100 miles away) i rang apple support and we changed my apple ID to another emailed address as they guy said it is someone who has my emailed address and will be using a programme to guess the password. So we made all the changes, signed out and in on phone, then Macbook Air.... only to then go into my apple account under my new emailed address and i get the same message. I have the 2 step authentication, will this person ever be able to hack my account? what else can i do to stop him trying? any recommendation or advice would be gratefully received

Thank you 🙂

Hi,

If you actually have two factor-authentication enabled and the message only comes up every time you log in to your Apple ID, it might pertain to you.

The location that it's giving you isn't your physical location but is the location based on the IP address of related to your internet provider.
