DO you mean a shortcut to your iCloud Drive files so you can see them? Go to Finder>Preferences>Sidebar and check the box for iCloud Drive.
If you're talking about creating a shortcut the *process of backing up* your files to iCloud, post back - possibly an Automator action could be added to the Finder sidebar or as an icon on your Desktop.
Yea I was asking about the process of backing up to iCloud on my iPhone. I wish they created a button where you can just do it all in one step instead of navigating though the setting to reach the iCloud backup section
No, there's no way to create a shortcut. You could set a reminder to yourself to plug the phone in at bedtime, though.
If you plug your phone in at night, make sure it's connected to WiFi and that the screen is locked, the phone will automatically back up to iCloud, no further intervention required.
I forget to plug it in at night so it doesn't always backup. Last backup was done 3days ago when I checked this morning. I just wanted something I could do manually also with a shortcut
