Insanely slow! Why is my transfer speed so slow to USB?!

So I am trying to load 23GB of files to a USB. The USB I am using is PNY 64GB, USB 3.0 Flash Drive. (Elite-X_20x Faster than 2.0)

Its taking 2 hours to transfer this! What is going on? What am I doing wrong? I reformatted it to Exfat and Master Boot. Why is this little thing trying to destroy my life!?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Ive used Carbon Copy Cloner before. It didn't really do any difference. So I used a ScanDisk 3.0 USB 32GB and it transferred in like 20 mins but for some reason PNY is taking 8000 years. Why do y'all think that is?

From an article by Dan Stovicec

Why is it that the current crop of USB 3.0 flash drives don't deliver full USB 3.0 speed? Most of them max out—according to manufacturer specifications—at 100MBps (800mbps) or less. In a casual search, I only found one, the Mushkin Enhanced Ventura Plus, that advertised a read speed of 200MBps (1.6gbps). That’s still less than half USB 3.0's maximum.

Write speeds often fall far below read speeds as well. The Mushkin USB stick only writes at 40MBps, well under the transfer rate of USB 2.0.
