Unwanted prompt

When I open iTunes, I keep getting this prompt:

Your iTunes Store Session has expired. To reconnect sign in with your apple id and password.

I don't even want to be in the store, and I have to cancel to do anything else. It's annoying.

How can I fix it? I have Sierra 10.12.3

What worked for me was do delete all my browser cookies in Safari. (Safari > Preferences... > Privacy > Remove All Website Data...)

Thanks for the Post!As a side note to others, I did what JHdeVillers did, but only removed the apple.com data:I opened Safari, then safari menu->Preferences->Privacy tab->Details... buttonThen I searched for apple, Selected Apple.com (Cache, cookiles, local storage) and clicked the remove button.

This is glaber again,

Deleting the cookies from Safari did not work for me. I'm just having the problem with the prompt when using iTunes. Safari preferences do not seem to affect the operation of iTunes.
