Can't Update Apple ID Settings

So recently I just updated my iPhoneSE to 10.3 (I think that's the latest update). For whatever reason, it made me go through the process to do a two-step verification. And now my iPhone is giving me a notification to update my Apple ID Settings. This is the process I go through:

Update Apple ID Settings -> Continue -> Insert iPhone passcode (6-digit PIN) -> Approve This iPhone

On the last step, it says

"Go to one of your other devices signed in to iCloud to approve this iPhone."

My problem is, that I don't have any other iCloud devices except iCloud downloaded on my Windows 10 desktop, and nothing happens. I don't have a MacBook. Or an iPod touch, or iPad. I used to own two of those, but I no longer do, and they are no longer listed as one of my devices under my account.

What do I do? I can't seem to update my Apple ID settings, and there seems like no way for me to do so?

What helped me was the following:

1) Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in (You will get Apple ID verification code on your phone);

2) Under Security section on the right side press edit;

3) Under Two-Factor Authentication section press Turn Off Two-Factor Authentication and follow the instructions;

4) You will be asked to type in your iPhone password and your done with this problem;

5) If you want to turn back Two-Factor Authentication go to Settings > Apple ID > Password & Security > Turn on Two-Factor Authentication and follow the instructions

This also helps if you can't log in icloud on windows. You will need to log in when you have turned off Two-Factor Authentication.

Hi gasema812,

I understand that you've set up two-factor authentication during the most recent iOS update, but now you're unable to get a verification code to sign in to your Apple ID. I'm happy to help with this.

Check out the relevant section of this article that I've highlighted below:

Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support

What if I don’t have access to a trusted device or didn't receive a verification code?

If you're signing in and don’t have a trusted device handy that can display verification codes, you can have a code sent to your trusted phone number via text or a phone call instead. Click Didn't Get a Code on the sign in screen and choose to send a code to your trusted phone number. You can also get a code directly from Settings on a trusted device. Learn how to get a verification code.

If I can't sign in, how do I regain access to my account?

If you can’t sign in, reset your password, or receive verification codes, you can request account recovery to regain access to your account. Account recovery is an automatic process designed to get you back in to your account as quickly as possible while denying access to anyone who might be pretending to be you. It might take a few days—or longer—depending on what specific account information you can provide to verify your identity.
