Touch ID randomly stopped working on my iPhone 5s
2 days ago my Touch ID stopped working on my iPhone 5s. I have tried the reboot option and when unlock my phone with the password I get a message saying "unable to activate Touch ID on this iPhone" and when I go into settings and toggle on "iPhone unlock" it goes to the fingerprint setup then immediately says "Failed". My Touch ID was working just fine and when I went to go unlock it 2 days ago my fingerprint was no longer working. I was able to delete my fingerprints 2 days ago but when I went to re-add them it wasn't recognizing my fingerprint anymore. I updated my phone to 10.3 and when it turned back on after updating my phone could no longer activate my Touch ID.
