Disable CarPlay playing random songs (shuffle all library) on startup

Using Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX head unit in my vehicle which supports CarPlay.

Sometimes, when I start my car up and plug in my iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 10.3.1, it will continue playback of the album I was playing previously in the car.

Sometimes, when I plug in my iPhone, it will start playing in random my entire library (Shuffle All).

How do I disable this Shuffle All feature? I don't like it.

I prefer to continue the previous album or not play anything until I choose what to play.

The only settings I find in the iPhone are

Settings → General → CarPlay → Car Navigation → Allow CarPlay While Locked

Settings → General → CarPlay → MyLink → Allow CarPlay While Locked

Also Checked Settings → Music, but no relevant settings there.

I contacted Pioneer support, but they say in CarPlay their product has nothing to do with playback features, all it does is relay the UI between the head unit screen and the iPhone, the iPhone is completely in charge.
