Can i reset my unlocked iphone 6 to its factory settings? Will it be relocked?

If the iPhone was legitimately unlocked by the wireless provider to which
it was originally locked, it will not re-lock when reset.
If unlocked by other means, it will re-lock at best or become a brick at worst
depending on how it was illegitimately unlocked.
