My bchunk file is missing... how do I replace or re-create it?

In trying to convert bin/cue files to CD, I went to my user bin and noticed that my chunk file has gone missing?

I suppose I misplaced it the last time I used it but that was over 2 years and OS's ago!!

Can anyone suggest anything?

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), 32 GB RAM, 8 TB internal OWC hd's

Those directories are locked up tight when the system is running off that drive. But they are not locked if you boot from any other drive, and the Mac is perfectly capable of booting from any appropriate drive, internal or external.

When booted from a different drive, you will find only "ordinary" protections in place on the (now idle) former boot drive.
