Can't export photos: "Could not load image (1,019)"

Hi there,

I'm trying to export some photos from the apple Photos app on my MacBook pro early 2015 using MacOS Sierra v10.12.3 and it doesn't seem to work. I can see these photos, but not share/edit or export and neither find them on my mac nor in my iCloud. I've added a picture of the message i get when trying to export.

Thanks, Matan.User uploaded file

What that message means is that the original files are missing.

Are you running a Managed or Referenced library?

Do you have the iCloud Photo Library enabled?

Where is your library located? If it's on an external HD how is that drive formatted and connected to your MBP?
