Touchpad right click behavior not correct in Windows (MPB w/touchbar)

Picked up my new MBP with touch bar last week and installed bootcamp. The right click behavior is not functioning correctly. Simply laying 2 fingers on the touch pad fires the right click (no force). This makes the right click menu pop up CONSTANTLY when typing and brushing on the touch pad. Also, if you do a single click and hold then afterwards lay and lift your second finger on the touch pad, it will fire the right click. Ultimately, right click should ONLY be 2 fingers pressed down simultaneously. This issue makes drag/drop and copy/paste nearly impossible.

The issue does not occur on the Mac side and does not occur on my previous generation MBP.

Apple is looking into it, but the first response was only a workaround. Basically turn off secondary click functionality. No confirmation that there is a bug in the driver. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, MBP 2012 works fine, I have one too. Its ONLY the new 2016 MBP on the Bootcamp side that has the issue. Click speed has no effect on it. As soon as two touches are sensed, the right click fires.

Unchecking the "Tap To Click" like your screen shot shows made things a bit better (not sure that makes sense though). It does not fire now when two fingers are on the pad. However, it still has the other issue. Example: drag an icon across the desktop, if you accidentally "touch" the pad with another finger/palm while dragging, it will stop the drag and pop up the right click. I am used to holding down the single click and dragging with the second finger and you can't do that. I just tried on the Mac side and this works properly dragging with 2 fingers.

I normally do not use Tap-to-Click - only the Two-Finger and Secondary Click using the Bottom Left Corner.

The 'accidental' touch issue is tough to address, as there is no connection between your thought and the electrical devices (yet! 😉 ).

I really like the 2 finger click. And its really not a thought thing, its just how everything else works. There is no OS (Mac Windows, Linux) or laptop with a touch pad that behaves like this. I am certain its a bug in the touchpad driver regarding the 2nd touch.

It does not work properly. If I am dragging and accidentally touch the pad with another part of my hand, the drag will cancel and right click will fire. This does not happen on OSX and does not happen on older MBP.

I do not own one yet, but yes, I do realize it is a large trackpad. I have a refurbished unit on the way. The Windows side on this specific machine (15-in 2016) has all kinds of issues, for Wireless, BT, GPU, etc..

I had the wireless issue, could not connect at all to any wifi. However after installing the the bootcamp assistant software and booting into Windows, I ran Apple Update and there was a bootcamp update. This fixed my Wifi, works perfectly now.

With the following settings on a 2012 MBP, the two-finger works after both fingers are placed and push the trackpad. Can you check the speed for Double Click?

Default settings. "Tap to Click" and "Two Fingers Secondary Click" are checked. This seems like it should be correct thinking "Two Fingers" means pushed down, like a two finger click.
