If one AirPod is louder than the other

When I listening to my AirPods it sounds like my right AirPod is slightly louder than the left. I even replaced the left one on an Apple Store, but still having the same issue. Unpair/Pair was another try.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Thanks!!

One of the most common reasons why one AirPod may sound louder than the other is the accumulation of dirt, dust, or earwax on the speaker grills. To clean your AirPods, you can use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of each AirPod. You can also use a dry cotton swab to reach the hard-to-reach areas, such as the small cracks and crevices.

For the speaker grills, you can use a soft-bristle brush or a toothbrush to gently brush away any debris that may be stuck on them. Do not use any liquid or sharp objects to clean your AirPods, as this may damage them or cause water damage. After cleaning your AirPods, make sure they are completely dry before placing them in the charging case or using them again. This way, you can ensure that your AirPods sound balanced and clear.

I might say this is the best method to fix this issue, However there are other fixes too, but I can't elaborate each one, its best you search on google and find a relevant guide or you can visit this guide that has provided 8 Solutions on how to fix volume on one AirPod lounder then other

Hi, I can't believe I'm saying this but I was desperate as my right air pod fits much better than my left. I always keep it clean but I could barely hear out of it the last few days and tried the sucking fix...........did it several times for each speaker as came up louder the more I did it. Now as loud as before.............OMG....thought it was a joke as sounded pretty odd but it worked so well. I do suggest you clean it first with a tissue and I use the end cap (side part) of a pen which isn't sharp to clean the edges.

Thanks for the tip!

I highly appreciate the tips, I tried it and it actually worked, my preferred setting to stabilize the volume would be 83%, but anywhere between 80-85% towards the weaker one works well, it makes them sound more stable, and it saves the trip to go ask for a replacement regarding a simple design flaw.

and saves time from unnecessary but possibly helpful YouTube tutorials on how to make them stable, which if done incorrectly, could end up ruining the buds permanently.

try it, I promise you will be impressed.

i check the settings and everything seemed balanced, nevertheless one ear was still louder. The solution is cleaning out the ear wax stuck in the AirPod. I couldn’t suck it as one person commented on here, but I used an antiseptic wipe to clean out the wax then blew into the AirPod from the smaller outlet by the side so the air forced out the wax stuck in the main sound outlet and I wiped some more and kept blowing it out till I was satisfied and voila my AirPod is back to life 🤭

I tried fixing the audio settings, but the slide bar was still in the middle and I’m still having an imbalance in audio. I have turn up the volume all the way in order to hear quite sounds through my left AirPod. I’m assuming this means that it is broken, through I haven’t done anything to my AirPods. I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to try to fix the audio.
