When I listening to my AirPods it sounds like my right AirPod is slightly louder than the left. I even replaced the left one on an Apple Store, but still having the same issue. Unpair/Pair was another try.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

There are two main problems that could be causing this: volume settings or dirty airpods.
The former is simply fixed by going to settings -> general -> accessibility -> audio/visual and then scrolling down to the bottom to see the scroll bar that controls how loud one speaker is over the other. Adjust it to your needs.
however, if you still find that your airpods sound muffled or that just didn’t plain work, the solution is cleaning them. You should already have a set cleaning regime for them to improve and maintain good sound quality. However, I will share mine (that includes the suction method that some mentioned here as well minus the gross sucking-with-your-mouth part).
Now, if neither of these things work you may have broken/damaged airpods on your hands.
as shown by the image, I had the latter as my problem and this cleaning method worked really well and now my sound quality and volume is 100x better for both airpods! This is what came out of my airpods using the sticky tack, and I can only imagine what came out with the suction.
Sucking on the speaker fixed it !! Sounds gross but it worked !!
i Just went though every reply and I kept reading “suck on the AirPod that isn’t working” idea and I laughed thinking that’s ridiculous. I gave it a shot because I rather do anything to fix it than to pay 160 for another pair and what do you know. The weird idea actually worked!!! Thank you guys!
I have the same issue.....I also notice that as of now under settings and under general ...Accessibility.... when I go to adjust volume balance NOTHING happens.
Also to the comment of "suck the ear wax out" YUCK!
I have however been using a toothbrush(not using oil teeth) and hole the earpiece so no fluid can run into it and lightly rub the "grate" with alcohol to break up and remove any ear wax.
Still right ear is WAY lower in volume than left.
I am using an iPhone X with latest version iOS 11.2.2
This issue is when paired with any apple device.
I hate to say it but like others have said sucking on the larger speaker and then wiping off works.
I have always cleaned mine with a Qtip, but some get pushed into the mesh and this way gets that out.
Okay, listen, I’ve been aggravated about one being much louder than the other and that it seemed like over time they were becoming less impressive in terms of sound quality and general loudness. However, this “sucking” trick is amazing. Who knew?! I thought I kept mine relatively clean but apparently not. They are back to sounding brand new!!!!! This is amazing.
Hey there so I was using my airpods last night and suddenly the left one became way quieter then the right so I went to sleep to see if they’d fix and they didn’t and I just wanted to say yes it sounds very gross but the sucking method did work and if you do it on both they get louder thanks!

This literally helped me. I am at work and all of a sudden the sound started getting lower and lower. I unpaired it and paired it. Thinking the speaker blew.
Then I found this thread. After like 10 minutes of cleaning and “sucking” BWhahaha.. IT WORKS!! (Crazy) thanks for the info!
Holyshit it really worked! My wife was disgusted that I’m sucking one ear to try fixing it. But she was relieved when it started working because she was the one who took the liberty to clean my AirPods which indeed caused excessive air in left earplug. Thanks folks!
This didn't quite work for me, but because I'm always about taking things to the extreme, I doused mine in rubbing alcohol to soften up the build-up and then blasted the whole thing in both holes (zing) with an air compressor.

It’s not a setting, there’s earwax in the quieter AirPod. You have to suck on it to get it out, it sounds gross but it’s not, trust me. It worked really well for me. Good luck

The warranty ran out this year. I gave the sucking a try and now they work just fine!
