How to create a timeline in Mac Numbers?

How to create a timeline in Mac Numbers where the events on that timeline come from another table such that when I move an event on my timeline, the date of that event is automatically changed accordingly in the other table too. Is that at all possible? It sounds very much like a calendar but then just on 1 line.

I'm looking for this solution for seeing the bigger picture of projects that I'm running.

If you have any ideas that could help me out fully or partially, I'd appreciate to hear from you.

Cheers!

Assuming your timeline is in the form of a chart then Numbers does not have a feature where you can move an event in the chart and have the source table used to make the chart automatically change. It's one-way only: change values in the table and the chart will change.
